Trained as a corset-maker, Ada Masotti pursued his dreams and founded La Perla in 1954 in Bologna. Ada Masotti chose this city because Bologna has been home to silk mills and textile manufacturers since the 17th century. La Perla has gained a great reputation throughout the country and then around the world in the near future.
In the adventure that started with the corset production, La Perla gained a wide range of products by using the accumulation gained in this branch in the production of lingerie. With the lingerie she designed and produced in different genres and new styles, Ada Masotti proved why she was one of the few women who have created a long-established fashion brand in the fashion world.
While constantly changing and evolving fashion approaches have influenced decades, La Perla has managed to follow these trends closely and create the most popular models in every period. In the 1960s, La Perla created lingerie fashion with colorful and floral designs beyond traditional lingerie colors black, white, and nude. In the middle of the same decade, the bikinis and swimsuits collections were launched, and the brand soon became a global brand under the leadership of Alberto Masotti.
La Perla, which has become an indispensable brand of lingerie fashion with its models that deserve each one of its stylish, impressive and dazzling definitions, distinguishes itself with its design approach that can balance the charm and simplicity. La Perla, which launched capsule collections with celebrity collaborations, ensures the constant renewal of its users' lingerie drawers with its new lingerie collections each season. We've put together some of the most stylish lingerie of La Perla and listed them for you. Brands like La Perla, which make brand new designs for us to experience fashion in every moment of our lives, make our world more beautiful.
