And even just its presence triggered other brands to develop new technologies. Leaving Apple behind in 2018, it became the second-largest manufacturer of smartphones in the world, following Samsung. One of the top smartphone brands, Huawei, which has its headquarters in Shenzhen, China, is also one of the world's leading brands in consumer electronics, telecom equipment, and networking equipment. The brand, which launched its first phone in 2004, is now considered the most marginal player in the big competition.

The users' appreciation of their products has enabled Xiaomi to gain a huge market share in a short time and become the largest smartphone company in China in about three years. Having decided to expand beyond the borders of China in 2014, the brand opened its first international headquarters in Singapore. Continuously growing, Xiaomi has become the fourth-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. Xiaomi, which is also one of the largest companies in the world, has been one of those who achieved this as soon as possible. In addition to the Mi and Redmi series smartphones that it has released one after another, Xiaomi has launched a wide range of laptops, smartwatches, electric scooters, smart home solutions, and drones, which are produced by considering the demands and needs of consumers. Xiaomi, which brings a new dimension to the competition in the smartphone market, is fighting with its top three rivals Samsung, Apple, and Huawei.

Founded by Jack Wong, Meizu made a name for itself with the production of MP3 players in its early years.
