A new record is being set today in the elite Beverly Hills property market by Coldwell Banker Global Luxury which is introducing an estate at $58.888 million, the highest price ever for a residential property in the coveted Beverly Hills Flats, which has an illustrious pedigree as home to Hollywood's A-list.

This unparalleled property, which spans 73,077 square feet (1.68 acres), is the single largest residential estate to come on the market in the Beverly Hills Flats in the past 22 years, according to the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Celebrated as the home of entertainment icons ranging from Tony Bennett to Cary Grant, Fred Astaire, Vivian Leigh, Ann-Margret, Vincent Price, Lawrence Olivier and Lana Turner, the Beverly Hills Flats are defined as the south side of Sunset Boulevard to Santa Monica Boulevard, from Doheny on the East to Greenway / Whittier (Copley Place is the furthest west) on the West and are considered one of the most prestigious addresses in the world. Christophe Choo of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury is the listing agent for this world-class estate.

This majestic European style villa, set behind private gates, invites guests to revel in opulence. Built in 1989 by leading architect Budd Holden, known for creating estates for Hollywood royalty including Barbra Streisand and Cher, the stately 26,800-square-foot manor has welcomed some of the world's most distinguished guests, including prime ministers and presidents.

A portrait of refined elegance, the classical grand salon is designed for entertaining in style, along with the dining room, two-story wine cellar, billiards room, and media room, while the two-story wood-paneled library offers a custom retreat. The residence features eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms, including a palatial 5,000 square foot master suite.

The parklike grounds feature two guesthouses spanning approximately 4,800 square feet, a stunning sunken tennis court, and a resort-style pool. A unique and whimsical train station with electric and steam rideable miniature railroad trains circle the property, inspired by Walt Disney's own railroad on his private estate in nearby Holmby Hills where he drew up his visionary plans for Disneyland.

He focused on to make functional and useful products, to provide functionality with unique design. I asked Lincoln Kayiwa, in order to learn more about his life, design approach and his own brand KAYIWA.
