Essential Brands announced today that it has entered into a licensing agreement with the ED Ellen DeGeneres brand. Under the agreement, Essential Brands will collaborate with the ED brand to create an exciting collection of loungewear and sleepwear. The collection will have an exclusive one-month launch period with Nordstrom in July 2018.

The collection will offer a wide range of pajama sets, sleep tees, robes and loungewear sets in fresh colors with unique ED design elements – love and positive messaging, vibrant animal motifs, signature prints and the ED love heart all reflecting Ellen DeGeneres' style and spirit. The collection will range from $48 - $88.

The brand plans to expand the offering with Intimates for Spring 2019 to include daywear, underwear and light support bras.

Richie Adjmi stated, "We are proud to enrich our portfolio of prestige brands with the addition of the ED Ellen DeGeneres brand. The licensing agreement is aimed at strengthening our brand portfolio and top line growth, which is part of my vision for Essential brands. Using the fresh colors, motifs and assets of the ED brand opens excellent opportunities for creating quality sleepwear and loungewear. I am therefore very happy and excited to announce this partnership, and look forward to collaborating with ED on future projects."
