The HALO-6.0 is the newest product developed by Halo Energy, LLC. Thanks to its shrouded structure, it can produce two times more energy than any same-sized conventional open-bladed wind turbines. This innovative product is designed to serve the areas where it is most needed and the target is expanding off-grid telecom tower market worldwide.
Halo Energy, LLC, a micro wind turbine manufacturer, focused on the production of the innovative and high-efficiency shrouded wind turbine The HALO-6.0 to begin delivering in the second quarter of 2019.
The first produced HALO-6.0 units will be delivered to an Alaskan telecommunication company which aims to reduce dependence on diesel fuel-driven generators.
Inspired by jet engine technology, The HALO-6.0 wind turbines are designed to be easily installed on telecom towers without the need for additional equipment, towers or connection equipment.
The HALO-6.0, which can be attached directly to the telecommunications towers with its 3.7-meter shroud diameter and 6 kW maximum production capacity, will reduce dependence on diesel generators and will be an important alternative to meet the energy requirements for existing and new telecommunications towers.
