The Gulfstream G650ER took off from Singapore and landed in Tucson, Arizona. And Gulfstream G650ER completed this route which is 8,379 nautical miles / 15,518 kilometers in just 15 hours and 23 minutes. The Gulfstream G650ER completed this flight with an average speed of 597 miles per hour / 960 kilometers per hour, and this is the new world record for business jets.
And it also brought along a new record of this distance which was 225 nm / 417 km longer than the longest distance traveled by a business jet before. Currently, the Gulfstream G650ER holds both speed and distance records.
Mark Burns, President of Gulfstream Aerospace, defined the Gulfstream G650ER as an incredible combination of speed and range. Now, Gulfstream G650ER is the fastest way to fly farthest destinations.
This new speed record became the 90th record that G650ER broke since it entered service in 2014.
