ExxonMobil Supports Disaster Relief and Recovery Efforts in Mozambique

After Cyclone Idai, Mozambique faced with Cyclone Kenneth disaster on April 25. Cyclone Kenneth recorded as the most powerful tropical cyclone in the history of Mozambique. The cyclone also caused serious damage in the Comoro Islands and Tanzania.

For supporting recovery operations in Mozambique, ExxonMobil contributed $100,000 to the American Red Cross which will collaborate with the Mozambique government’s National Disasters Management Institute to keep the storm’s victims healthy and secure.

With this $100.000 contribution, the total amount of ExxonMobil's support to Mozambique reached to $400.000 since Cyclone Idai. ExxonMobil has announced that its employees and contractors are in safe.
