Hublot and WBC Continues Partnership to Support The WBC José Sulaimán Boxers Fund

When it comes to individual professional sports, boxing is the first sport that comes to mind. A hard and disciplined work program for many years, hard-won matches, successes achieved by sweat and bloodshed, and a small number of boxers who have reached the happy end and have the honor of wearing a belt. Fame and fortune are coming with it. However, even if they are devoted their life to boxing, many boxers cannot reach this point. And after they have completed their careers, they are experiencing economic collapses. Founded in 2012 with the support of Hublot, The WBC José Sulaimán Boxers Fund aims to raise awareness about this issue and contribute to the living and health care expenses of retired boxers.

An exclusive 'Night of Champions' gala dinner and auction was organized for this purpose and received great attention and support from the participants.

There were some of the greatest boxing legends among the participants at this good purposed organization. Some of them are Mike Tyson, Sugar Ray Leonard, Evander Holyfield, Lennox Lewis, Oscar De la Hoya, Vitali Klitschko, Julio César Chávez, Roberto Duran, Zou Shiming, Thomas Hearns, Jeff Fenech, Hozumi Hasegawa, and George Foreman. In addition to the boxing legends, Carlos Santana and Mexican TV personality, Jacky Bracamontes were among the participants.

Donation to the José Sulaimán Boxers Fund

With the support of HUBLOT, there were a lot of spiritual value items sold at the auction. At the auction, the last known glove signed by Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, a golf club signed by Dustin Johnson, and a pair of shoes signed by Kobe Bryant, were sold. A total of $ 1.2 million in revenue from the special night auction was donated to the José Sulaimán Boxers Fund.

Founded in 1980, the Swiss watchmaker HUBLOT has created The Big Bang Unico WBC in two different styles to celebrate its partnership with WBC. These unique watches symbolize the boxing spirit with a green alligator strap as a dedication to the design of the iconic boxing championship belt.

The first of the two models was designed as a fully green ceramic case. The second model features 18K gold details.
