Ticketmaster and NHL, which have decided to extend their long-standing partnerships to the next decade, in this new era, will also integrate the newest stadium and ticket technologies developed by Ticketmaster into NHL events.
The joint works proved their efficiency in previous seasons. The 2018 and 2019 NHL All-Star games show that 85% and 88% of the spectators are using mobile tickets for entering the arenas. Considering that the most important factor that determines the success and continuity of the studies is whether or not the fans accept these new applications, it is possible to see that the partnership between Ticketmaster and NHL brings good results.
With this agreement renewal, the next generation of digital tickets and access platform Ticketmaster Presence ™ will be installed in the NHL arenas in the coming season for more secure and fast entry.
Installation of Ticketmaster Presence ™ will make SafeTix ™ available. SafeTix ™ is the newest ticket security system developed by Ticketmaster. The digital ticket that comes to the user's mobile phone after the purchase of tickets provides self-renewal protection every few seconds to prevent counterfeiting and copying. As of next year, the NHL fanatics will be able to access the arenas quickly and safely by showing their smartphones to the sensor on the Ticketmaster Presence ™ platforms.
