Rocco Forte Hotels Announces the Opening of Masseria Torre Maizza in Puglia, Italy

Masseria Torre Maizza is located in the Savelleteri di Fasano district, which runs along the Adriatic coast surrounded by ancient olive trees. The history of the farmhouse, which hosts the hotel, dates back to the 16th century. After an investment of over six million euros, the building reached its original appearance.

Rocco Forte Hotels was founded in 1996 by Sir Rocco Forte and his sister Olga Polizzi. Olga Polizzi, Director of Design for Rocco Forte Hotels, is responsible for all the design processes of hotels. Olga Polizzi, who prefers to work with local artisans in the design process of Masseria Torre Maizza, combined local heritage with the modern design concept and carried out works reflecting modern Italian elegance in all details of the hotel.

Masseria Torre Maizza is home to the Carosello restaurant. Fulvio Pierangelini is a celebrated chef and creative director of food for Rocco Forte Hotels who creates special menus for restaurants in every newly opened hotel. With a special menu consisting of authentic Italian dishes prepared by local ingredients, Carosello restaurant welcomes guests on the ancient garden, poolside and rooftop.

Masseria Torre Maizza has a variety of facilities for guests to enjoy. The 20-meter pool, 9-hole golf court, private beach club, fitness center, and Rocco Forte Spa are some of the facilities for guests to enjoy. And besides all these facilities, the concierge offers personalized services for guests.
