Carnival Cruise Line is one of the world's leading cruise lines. With 26 ships, Carnival Cruise Line organizing three to 24-day voyages to world's most popular destinations such as The Bahamas, Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, Australia, and more. Carnival Sunrise became the newest member of the family, and Carnival Cruise Line continues expanding its fleet. Carnival Cruise Line plans to add three more ships to its fleet by 2022.

Renowned artist Romero Britto designed a special champagne bottle for the Carnival Sunrise's ceremony, and Kathie Lee Gifford, who had previously served as a godmother for two ships which were Celebration in 1987 and Ecstasy in 1991, joined the ceremony.

Kelly Arison, daughter of Carnival Corporation Chairman Micky Arison and his wife Madeleine, said the ceremony was a crucial moment for her and she will never forget it.

Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning, and Carnival's Chief Fun Officer Shaquille O'Neal celebrated Arison with the specially prepared video for the Carnival Sunrise celebration.

Carnival Sunrise will spend its first summer in New York City with four to 14-day voyages. In the winter months, she will travel to the Caribbean and the Bahamas and return to New York in 2020.
