The 111-room Hilton Garden Inn Panama City suffered both external and internal damage from Hurricane Michael. Therefore, a detailed planning and a nine-month renovation plan were made, and a multi-million dollar budget was allocated.
The design team, which turned these bad conditions into an opportunity, decided to implement the 'Bloom' prototype concept, which was accepted by Hilton Garden in November.
In addition to repairing the damages, renovation works were also carried out in the guest rooms, meeting rooms and lobby area. There have also been changes and upgrades in The Garden Grille Restaurant & Bar and the former Pavilion Pantry, now renamed The Shop.
Melinda Lane, general manager of Hilton Garden Inn Panama City since October 2013, said that she and her team were very pleased that the hotel re-opened its doors and started to welcome its guests.
