The all-new CAAD13 is designed to make an aluminum road bike faster, smoother, more comfortable than ever, and to compete with carbon fiber bikes. The All-New CAAD13 may be the performance monster that will raise the popularity of aluminum bikes.
The newly designed, highly truncated airfoil tube shape is the innovation that allows the all-new CAAD13 to increase speed. Although they have the same weight as the round tubes, the design reduces aerodynamic friction by up to 30 percent, which enables higher speeds while using less power.
Cannondale CAAD13 offers brand new performance and comfort-enhancing touches to the features of the CAAD12, which is renowned for its soft ride, doubling the performance of the frame with dropped seat-stays, interior seat binder and integrated 27 KNØT seatpost.
The All-New CAAD13 is designed to use up to 30mm wide tires to improve smooth driving and comfort on rough roads. Cannondale CAAD13 is available in both disc brakes and wheel brakes. Twelve different sizes are also offered in the models designed considering the anatomical structures of women and men.
The new CAAD13 is not only the best alloy road race bike ever made by Cannondale, but also a tribute to the 13th element of the periodic table.
