Casio G-SHOCK shows the importance it attaches to Japanese culture again with its new model MRGG2000GA-1A. Unique carvings on the band of the new limited-edition titanium MR-G dedicated to the engravings found on the tang of Japanese swords were done by artist Sadanobu Gassan. Sadanobu Gassan, whose family tradition dates back to the 12th century, has partnered with Casio G-SHOCK within this project and created unique timepieces.
The new MRGG2000GA-1A features a unique bladed edge design that symbolizes Japanese sword art. Together with the flawless mirror-finish, the Cobarion® bezel forms the main structure of the watch.
The new member of the Casio G-SHOCK MR-G line, MRGG2000GA-1A is equipped with the latest technologies that Casio developed such as Multi-Band 6 and Tough Solar technology, which provides self-charging. The limited-edition titanium MRGG2000GA-1A also features Bluetooth technology that allows the new watch to connect with the Casio's MR-G Connected smartphone app. This application allows for self-adjusting time, automatic correction when switching between time zones, and solar charge tracking.
In addition to these high-end features, the new Casio G-SHOCK MRGG2000GA-1A is equipped with G-SHOCK technologies.
The new MRGG2000GA-1A offers GPS-controlled timekeeping for those who are in constant motion, 200M water resistance and shock resistance for those who like diving and adventure. And for those who want to capture the moment, the new MRGG2000GA-1A has daily alarm, countdown timer, airplane Mode, full auto-calendar, day/date display features. Super illuminator LED light provides easy visibility anytime and anywhere.
For watch lovers who want to carry a piece of Japanese culture on their wrists, the new Casio G-SHOCK limited-edition titanium MRGG2000GA-1A will be available at select G-SHOCK authorized retailers and G-SHOCK Soho store for $7,400.
