Iberia, flying to 137 destinations in 48 countries, adds a new one. The A319 aircraft, with a capacity of 141 passengers, will be used four times a week between Madrid and Cairo. The new route will serve a total of 1,100 passengers weekly in Business and Economy class and will become a new destination for the Spanish airline, which operates 600 flights daily with 140 aircraft.
Passengers coming from Egypt to Madrid can fly to 21 cities in Spain and Portugal and 25 cities in the US and Latin America. This proves that this new route will connect Cairo to an essential flight connection center.
Cairo will be the seventh destination of Iberia on the African continent, after six cities in Morocco, Algeria, and Senegal. Ticket prices on this route will start from 239 EUR.
