2019 continues to be an unforgettable year for A. Lange & Söhne. With their brand new exceptional timepieces produced in honor of the 25th anniversary of their first collection, they praise the brand's past and offer watch lovers a legacy in which they integrate their knowledge and elaborate craftsmanship.
A. Lange & Söhne's first stainless steel case sporty-elegant watch, the ODYSSEUS, is powered by a tailor-made movement specially developed for it. In this sophisticated design, the edges reveal itself and give the watch its personality. The ODYSSEUS is designed for use during all kinds of activities such as hiking, swimming, sailing. This water-resistant watch offers freedom and elegance together.
The legibility of the day and day of the week indicators suddenly amazes the user. The fact that they can be easily read without the need for a magnifying glass is like an expression of the ODYSSEUS philosophy of freedom.
The dark-blue dial and the three-part stainless-steel case are the hallmarks of the ODYSSEUS. The progress of white-gold hands on the dark-blue dial is reminiscent of white foams at the top of the ocean waves. The luminous handles and hour markers keep the ODYSSEUS connected to the user at any time of the day.
Tailor-made movement, developed at the co-operation of watchmakers and engineers, operates at a frequency of 28,800 semi-oscillations per hour. Although produced with the latest technology, this movement carries the traditional traces of A. Lange & Söhne all around. The ODYSSEUS's movement consists of 312 pieces and includes 32 rubies.
The Lange signature engraved buckle and stainless steel bracelet are designed for comfort. The bracelet allows the user to adjust lengths up to 7 millimeters without opening the safety deployant buckle, and this feature brings ease of use and ergonomics to the next level.
The ODYSSEUS is a reflection of the knowledge of A. Lange & Söhne, founded in 1845 by Ferdinand Adolph Lange.
