Sustainability is currently one of the key goals of leading brands in almost all industries. Innovative brands in the fashion world also enable the development of environmentally friendly products with the new sustainable materials they develop. All brands that care about nature, from the biggest to the smallest, are in an innovation race with their work on sustainability. Gucci is one of these brands.
Gucci Dive collection, consisting of automatic and quartz watches, is now a much more sustainable watch collection with its new members. The bio-based material used in the production of these models is a rubber-like raw material. The watch band and case contain 46% and 65% bio-based materials. Metal parts such as case back, buckle and crown are also made from recycled steel.
Quartz movement is at the heart of the comfortable design of the new Gucci Dive Bio-Based models, with a modern and sporty look. The creative use of the bee and feline head, the iconic symbols of the Gucci brand in the design, is like a symbol of the union of fashion and watchmaking in the same body.
Although its sustainability and stylish design are the most visible features of the Gucci Dive Bio-Based models, the 40 mm diameter case, colored transparent dials, 38h power reserve capacity and 200 meters (20 ATM) water resistance are the unique features of these watches.
The new members of the Gucci Dive Collection, which stand out with their vibrant colors, seem to steal the hearts of many watch lovers. Emphasizing the importance of sustainability and the value of design at the same time, Gucci Dive Bio-Based models are available at €1,550 price tag on Gucci's website.
