Shimano has decided to make the S-Phyre RC903 road cycling shoes, which it has been testing on both men's and women's peloton under real conditions since February, available to consumers. Two years after the S-Phyre RC902 shoes went on sale, the more advanced RC903 models hit stores around the world.
Compared to its predecessor, the S-Phyre RC903 road cycling shoes have been reduced in weight and increased in comfort, and the configuration of the Boa cables has also been updated. A pair of lightweight Li2 Boa dials used to adjust the lace tension work in both directions, increasing the flexibility and adjustability of the upper part of the shoe. This means a cycling shoe that grips the foot better.
The size 42 of the S-Phyre RC903 road cycling shoes has been announced to weigh 225 grams, 10 grams less than its predecessor. The new heel cap is designed to prevent unwanted movement during sprints and hard efforts. The mesh part added to the shoe's tongue is aimed to increase the ventilation without affecting the performance.
The new S-Phyre RC903W has been designed with the physical characteristics and needs of female cyclists in mind. Its volume has been reduced and its structure has been narrowed to better fit female cyclists.
The newest addition to Shimano's advanced line of cycling shoes, the S-Phyre RC903 is available in half sizes from sizes 40 to 48. It is possible to choose from white, black, blue and red colors. The white S-Phyre RC903W for women is available in sizes 36 to 44.
The new S-Phyre RC903 road cycling shoes, which have a completely different look with its renewed lacing system, are designed to increase comfort and performance with its more fit design.
