VinFast has delivered the first 100 VF 8 eSUVs to domestic customers. Global deliveries of VF 8 eSUVs, manufactured at VinFast's manufacturing facility in Hai Phong, will begin in December 2022 and target markets will be the US, Canada, and Europe.
Celebrating the delivery of the first VF 8 all-electric mid-size SUVs with an event called "The Future is Now" and announcing it globally via livestream, VinFast will export 5,000 VF 8s in the next batch. The vehicles, which will begin shipping to international customers in the US, Canada, and Europe as of November 2022, will be delivered to customers before 2023.
Equipped with advanced features such as Automated Lane Changing Assist, Highway Assist, Smart Summon Mode, Smart Parking Assist, and Remote Parking Assist, The VinFast VF 8 aims to take its place in the global market as a 5-seat all-electric SUV.
The VinFast VF 8 has two versions, Eco and Plus. The VF 8 Eco has a range of 260 miles with its 260 kW electric motor. The VF 8 Plus version also offers a range of 248 miles with its 300 kW electric motor. The biggest design difference between the two versions is the Panoramic Sunroof of the Plus version.
Founded in 2017 within Vingroup, VinFast aims to take its place in the global electric vehicle market with the VF 8 eSUV and to reach more than 65,000 customers with this model in a short time.
