Prima Pramac Racing's Spanish rider Jorge Martin will start from the first place in the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana race held in his home country. With a lap time of 1:29,621 in Valencia GP qualifying, Jorge Martin, who outstripped all his opponents, won the third pole position in a row.
Repsol Honda Team rider Marc Marquez had the second-best time in qualifying. Ducati Lenovo Team rider Jack Miller also had the third best time and took his place in the first line.
Championship leader Ducati Lenovo Team rider Francesco Bagnaia chose not to risk too much in qualifying and remained in 8th place. It will be enough for Francesco Bagnaia to finish the race in 14th place to become the champion. Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP rider Fabio Quartararo, who is second in the overall standings and has to win the Gran Premio Motul de la Comunitat Valenciana for the championship, will start at the front of the second line with a fourth-best time.
