The third edition of the Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia race will start on March 1, 2023, in Brescia, Italy. 76 classic cars are expected to start in the 2023 edition of the Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia race. Challenging passes and majestic peaks await cars and drivers on the 1100 km long route. Along the route, where harsh natural conditions meet with the winter season, drivers will find themselves in unique landscapes.
In the Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia 2023 race, Italy will be represented with 19 cars, while Belgium is the second country with the most participants, with 16 cars. Germany will take part in the race with 14 cars, while Switzerland, the Netherlands, Israel, Spain, Poland, the USA, and the United Kingdom are other countries with teams in the race.
Two pre-war cars stand out in this year's edition. Two iconic cars, the 1927 Bugatti T 37 A and 1927 Lancia Lambda Casaro VII Serie, which many people have not had the opportunity to see even once in their lives, will be on the starting line as the most seniors of the race.
The overall classification of the Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia 2023 race will be determined by the times to be obtained at 7 Passage Controls, 11 Time Controls, 90 Time Trials, 10 Average Trials, and 60 Secret Measurement points, which will be passed over 4 days. The third edition of Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia will finish on March 4, 2023, in Bormio.
