The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, which is home to Premier League, NHL, rugby, music concerts and boxing events, hosts events that attract around 5.9 billion people throughout the year. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will now also host motor sports as part of a long-term strategic partnership with Formula 1.
The world's first in-stadium karting facility is scheduled to open in Autumn 2023. This project will also be London's longest electric go-kart track. The presence of this electric go-kart track, which represents a further expansion of the multipurpose nature of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, will also provide an opportunity to discover local talents with the driver's academy to be established as part of this long-term strategic partnership.
It will be the one-of-its-kind facility in Europe and will have two different tracks for adults and juniors. Accredited by the National Karting Association, the facility is expected to host National Karting Championship races in the future. This go-kart track, which will allow talented young people to show themselves, will bring a whole new perspective to the sports approach in Europe.
Go-kart will be at the center of Tottenham Hotspur's collaboration with Formula 1. Going beyond focusing on a single sport, the Tottenham Hotspur club also prioritizes environmental responsibility in this collaboration and remains the greenest Premier League team.
